It’s Sweet Potato Thyme!

I couldn’t think of a clever name for these sweet potato fries, so I resorted to what I do best – word play. I hope I got the point across.

Here’s how to make them:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

Gather the following:

  • 2 sweet potatoes, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Toss the sweet potato fries in the oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread onto a baking sheet in one even layer. Bake fries for 20 minutes. Once they’re out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh thyme.

Let them cool (or at least try to wait) and enjoy!

  1. Looks great. I have made before with rosemary but I should give thyme a chance too.
